Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what information SFB Media collects when you visit https://sfbmedia.com.au, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Information we collect

When you submit a contact form, enquiry form or newsletter signup, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address and any message content. When you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect the comment content, your IP address, and your browser's user agent string to help detect spam.

If you use a Gravatar-linked email address when commenting, an anonymised hash of your email may be checked against the Gravatar service. Once a comment is approved, your Gravatar profile picture is visible alongside it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email and website in a cookie for convenience on future visits — these last one year. Standard login and session cookies are used if you have an account on the site. We don't use cookies for advertising tracking.

Embedded content

Pages and posts on this site may include embedded content (for example, a YouTube video or Pinterest pin). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website directly, and that site may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, deliver any resource you've requested (such as a checklist or guide), and — where you've opted in — to send occasional emails about our services. We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Where we use a third-party email platform (such as Kit) to manage newsletter signups and lead magnet delivery, your name and email are stored with that provider under their own privacy and security terms.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry and contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records. Blog comments are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments from the same person can be recognised automatically. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Data sharing

If you request a password reset on the site, your IP address is included in the reset email for security purposes. Aside from the service providers mentioned above (hosting, email platform, spam detection), we do not share your personal information with third parties.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@sfbmedia.com.au. We'll respond as quickly as we can. Some data may need to be retained where we have a legal or administrative obligation to keep it.

Contact us
